Meet the year one team

Welcome to the year one class page. We will bring you all the latest information each half term, so that you're able to see what we have been learning. The website is a great place to keep checking to see what we have been up to and to keep in touch with important messages and dates. 

We are looking forward to the new year and cannot wait to see what the children will achieve in year one. We have got some exciting things planned for the year. It promises to be a busy one, but we have all the children's best interests at heart and will ensure that if they have any worries that we will be happy to discuss these. 

Miss McGuinness is the teacher in 1JM and Miss Bertram is the teacher in 1JB.

Miss Moorhouse, Miss Taylor and Mrs Brewer will be working with the children in Year 1. On a Monday, Miss Bryan and Mrs Royce will be working witht he children. 

If there is anything that you need to know or want to talk to us about please feel free to ask, add a note in your child's reading record or contact the office to make an appointment. 

Each morning the children will come through the classroom door at the allotted time and a member of the year 1 team will be there to greet the children. If you do need to get a message to your child's teacher then please drop them a note or contact the school office and they will be happy to pass on a message.
